On Trend: Round Towels

I had wanted a roundie for a very long time and before heading off to Hawaii last year, Hubby surprised me with one. I literally cried!

I had never said that I wanted one, nor did I even realise that he knew what they were or where to buy them! I was impressed. Massive brownie points!

Are you a roundie lover too?

Round towels are very on trend.
It started with the original roundie, by The Beach People, a sister duo who wanted something that oozed beach culture. After a sellout season in the summer of 2013, their idea and brand has sky-rocketed and is now a growing community of like minded sea lovers around the globe.

There is now lots of options and competition out there in the market for round towels - with bargain places like Kmart even bringing out there own designs!

I thought I would share with you some top shopping picks if you are on the lookout for a round towel. I absolutely love mine, Here is a snap of me with mine on Hawaii's north shore last year. It was so perfectly oversized (yes they fit two people!) that it is almost a blanket, not just a beach towel. I have this print.

My Shopping Picks!

Left to right:
Yellow Beach Towel by Kmart $29.00
Aquatic Lotus by Epoch Collective $109.00
Aztec by The Beach People $110
Pineapple Print by Beach Bella $84.95
Arrowed by Adairs $77.95
Artlan by Oh Lay $89.00
Watermelon by Target $59.00

DO YOU HAVE A ROUND BEACH TOWEL?
WHICH ONE IS YOUR FAVOURITE FROM MY PICKS?

I am buying a round towel this week as a gift, are there any other suppliers you know about that have great roundies? They are such a fun beach accessory aren't they? I especially love the ones with mandala prints!

Happy shopping x

  5. I'm not sure of the round towel trend, I think I may have discovered I am a bit of a traditionalist in this area. I do so love the watermelon roundie though :)
