With the news of the royal baby and a name announcement, there is lots of baby talk in the air at the moment!
What do you think of the little Princess' name? Personally, I have always loved the name Charlotte so I adore it. I love the sentiment of having Diana's name too, lets hope her legacy continues to live on.
So now we are talking babies, lets jump straight into nursery ideas. Could you imagine the nursery of the royal baby? I am imagining soft pastel pinks, white and maybe a touch of gold? Today though we are going for a very on trend look. Personally, I am loving the boho tribal look for a little boy. It says to me...
outdoorsy, adventure, creative, imagination, whimsical, dreamy
It is Feature Friday today and we are taking inspiration today from The Block's Dale & Sophie and the nursery they created for their new bundle of joy baby Van Vine.

Such a great space isn't it?
I love it all, especially the wallpaper and timber furniture though, it feels like you are going into the woods! What do you think? Isn't the tree branch a cute way to hang clothes and things? I can imagine when Van is older this is the spot he will hang his dressups, I am thinking Cowboys + Indians would suit this theme!
Here are some pieces I have put together so you can create a similar nursery style. I have kept it quite neutral, you could add a bold colour, wallpaper, statement linen or a print to bring some personality to the room.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS BOHO TRIBAL LOOK?
Love it or loathe it? Did you go overboard decorating a nursery or did you keep it simple? It would be so easy to get carried away, thats why I love the simplicity of this look.
Or are you yet to decorate a nursery and have a little moodboard of ideas? Care to share?

Deletewhat an awesome space! Love it. I set out to do a vintage surf theme for my little guy. Didnt quite end of up that way though as practicality got the better of me. I love #5 in your finds above... super cool. Xx
ReplyDeleteOh, a vintage surf look would look fab. I may have to do some pinterest hunting and put that look together, Yes practicality with little ones I imagine will always come first! Perhaps there needs to be a blog post for first timers of what to put and not put in a nursery? real life disaster stories?! x
DeleteOh god I love this so much!! Sophie is such a talent putting this all together x
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, how cute are those foxy slippers! I wish they made them in grown up sizes, only I guess they wouldn't look quite so cute then!
ReplyDeleteHehe had to laugh Sammie, they are super cute aren't they! Why are kids clothes and shows so much fun, being a grown up can be so boring:P x
DeleteLove this look but dont know that i'd have it. Its warm and comfy feeling but i think id look for something a little happier in the nursery. Thanks for sharing with us for The Sunday Brunch Magazine, Bel & Eliza xx
