Spring has Sprung!

I would have to say September is one of my favourite months of the year.
Spring is officially here, the days are getting much warmer and I have even been tempted to go for a swim!

I also love a doing a good Spring clean and especially now am in full nesting mode. Yesterday we emptied out the guest room, ready for new carpet to be installed next week, then I can start putting together the nursery for the twins. I am so excited! I keep walking down the hallway, looking at the empty room and cannot believe that soon there will be cots, teeny tiny clothes and two little babies. It is such an exciting time!

The Spring clean and rearranging didn't stop in the guest room/soon to be nursery though, I also did the living room and next on my list is my bedroom. I love the feeling of saying goodbye to the winter blankets, throws and general winter decor. So the washing machine has been on full rotation the last few days, washing all those winter woolies, ready to pack away for another year.
Have you been in Spring cleaning mode too?

Another reason that motivated me to get cleaning and dusting was my new Seacova cushions. Clare of Seacova has created a range of luxury cotton cushions that I could not wait to style and put to use in my home. Inspired by her love of the Australian coastline and charm of the American seaside, Clare has created a stunning range of soft furnishings. Clare's designs are manufactured using beautiful textured cottons, quality embroidery, an invisible zip and quality piping.

Soft duck egg blues...
Strong navy...
 Striking coral pink...
Either on their own or a combination of all three styles are brilliant together!

The Herringbone coral pink pairs perfectly with either of the coastal blue range and adds a touch of vibrancy and energy which I love. Who doesn't love a Herringbone print?!

I now just cannot decide which cushions I will keep where - here are the range in my bedroom. I am not sure which cushions I like where. What do you think?

Palm tree cushion is from the Florida Keys range - navy and white is so timeless. I think this is one of my favourites!

Simple and classic, these two are from the Cape Cod range - duck egg blue and white

HAVE YOU BEEN BUSY SPRING CLEANING AND REARRANGING TOO?
Are you a cushion addict too?
What do you think of Clare's cushion range?

You can see some of Clare's stunning Hamptons styled home, more of her range and coastal inspiration here on the Seacova:

There is free delivery on all cushion covers, you can shop the full collection here.

Thanks to Clare from Seacova for the beautiful cushions, you have just satisfied my cushion addiction, I think I am going to be more than happy with these stunners!

Looking forward to seeing how you style it and if you can control yourself with all of the gorgeous baby décor out there! 1. I am having new carpet installed today, so have had to move all the bedroom furniture out of three rooms. It was such a great excuse for a spring clean. Really kicked my butt into gear! Massive clean out was done too, it felt SO good! The amount of dust build up under the bed was terrifying!!

  8. Although I am definitely not in a nesting mode I am in a Spring cleaning mode! It's so satisfying at this time of year to be cleaning, decluttering and rearranging!

  9. I'm totally in Spring Cleaning mode! It was kicked off by an event outside my control (you can read about that on my blog next week) but it's spurred me into action! New sheets, towels and I really need new cushion covers for my European cushions that adorn my couch so this has inspired me! Beautiful. And I'm envious on the nursery, I would love to be able to go back in time and do that again, was so much fun! Do you know what you're having?

    1. Hi Haidee, I just saw your post on scabies. Oh my, the thought of eggs hatching and crawling under your skin is too much isn't it! What a mammoth effort you went through. Hope everyone is in the clear now!! I am having new carpet installed today, so have had to move all the bedroom furniture out of three rooms. It was such a great excuse for a spring clean. The amount of dust build up under the bed was terrifying!! I guess look at the positive side and know now that everything is sparkly and clean and you have well and truly (hopefully) eradicated them!!! x

  10. Loving those cushions - so fresh looking! I really need to update my tired ones. I'm busting for a true Spring clean but it's still freezing with gale force winds where I live. My urge to purge on the clutter is fierce #teamIBOT x
