I have been watching with eager interest on Instagram the transformation of a run down coastal hotel to a luxurious beachfront, uniquely designed hotel.
It's called Halcyon House.
It would be described as Relaxed Beachfront Luxury -
Its situated in an idyllic beachfront town, Cabarita Beach in Northern New South Wales.
"Located halfway between the glitzy Gold Coast and bohemian Byron Bay — but a world away from both — Cabarita Beach is little-known beyond locals and itinerant surfers. For this reason it seems an unlikely place for one of Australia’s newest, most distinct boutique properties, Halcyon House." - source

Imagine spending your summer days poolside, sipping cocktails, dining in the gorgeously fitted out restaurant or enjoying the uniquely designed rooms and suites....oh what a hard day that would be!
One more, here is the before and after photo of the hotel interior.
The rooms are all individually designed, with no two rooms the same as the textiles, antiques art and furnishings have been sourced from around the world. The rooms are designed to be spacious, comfortable, with a balcony to admire the view, as well as bathrooms featuring marble vanities, hand made floor tiles, English tapware and a deep bath.
If you are a lover of shades of blue and texture like me, then this must be some eye candy for you too!

ReplyDeleteThat ugly duckling has turned into quite a swan! That place is stunning. I love staying in a place where every room is different, but I bet one thing that they all have in common is that they are super luxurioius. Would I love to stay? Yes please!

ReplyDeleteThat is amazing! I would so love to go there - and take my teenagers. They would be so impressed - and Cabarita (and the Tweed Coast) is one of our favourite parts of Australia.
