Its a Wrap!

It's a wrap - this will be my last post for a while, as I am taking holidays! I will be back blogging in the New Year.

Did you catch my Christmas post last week? Sharing what Christmas looks like in my home and how we are spending Christmas day? After the festivities and fun are over we are escaping for three nights over new years eve to the Sunshine Coast. I have booked a little holiday house, that is pet friendly, so Mr Coopar will be in tow, as well as the boat too. I can't deprive Hubby from fishing whilst we are on holidays, that would be too cruel wouldn't it?!

I am so looking forward to lazy days at the beach - nothing but a beach umbrella, an esky full of food and endless sunshine. A simple BBQ at night and then repeat that again...bliss!

I did my Christmas food shopping yesterday, however there were a handful of items that were sold out, like Changs fried noodles. I thought I would make this healthy noodle salad using the fried noodles. So back to the shops briefly today - and then I am DONE. Woo!

Are you organised and finished your shopping, or are you a 'leave it to the last minute' kinda person?

If you are looking for some more Christmas inspiration, here are some posts you may have missed...

How to make your bedroom a relaxing haven

This post is written in collaboration with SleepMaker.

Your bedroom should be your haven.
A place to retreat, relax and snuggle at the end of the day. One of my favourite parts of the day is going to bed, snuggling up in my linen sheets and relaxing. I have really made an effort to create a haven in my bedroom that allows me to switch off and be able to relax into a sound and deep sleep. If I have a restless or unbroken sleep it leaves me tired, flat and grumpy the next day.

I thought I would share with you today some of my tips on making your bedroom a haven - a place where you wake feeling rested and rejuvenated.

Loves + Links

Hello friends!

I thought I would share with you today some lovely snaps and links. I love seeing new things on the internet and thought you might too!

Well October certainly has flown by and it is so exciting to be November now - Summer, my favourite season is just around the corner. Yay!
I am sort of wishing the week away this week, as I am off to a wedding this weekend and it's in Newcastle, so we are making a roadtrip out of it and a long weekend which will be fun. I love road trips, do you?

There is something about weddings that I love - the fun loved up atmosphere, food, fun and of course the famil and friends you catch up with. I recently saw this wedding, totally rustic and on the river, it makes you want to get married again right?

I also shared a beauty mishap a little while ago and in doing so, won myself a Bella Box subscription. My box arrived in the mail last week and I was so excited, it is so much fun sampling all the latest beauty buys. Do you have a beauty box subscription, I am told there are lots of fabulous ones out there?!

Sally of Coastal Vintage was so kind to join us today on Glamour Coastal Living - Sally is a lover of the sea and all things coastal vintage. Sally created Coastal Vintage out of a love for beautiful old coastal items. After a decade of sailing around the world, she wanted to bring those memories of the sea home with her, and this is how Coastal Vintage began. Coastal Vintage is based in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, where you can browse Sally's incredible range of coastal finds, or even visit her website and online store.

We are so lucky to have Sally join us today to share some insight into decorating and incorporating coastal vintage items into a coastal themed wedding.

The Transformation of a Coastal Hotel - Cabarita's Halcyon House

I have been watching with eager interest on Instagram the transformation of a run down coastal hotel to a luxurious beachfront, uniquely designed hotel.

It's called Halcyon House.

It would be described as Relaxed Beachfront Luxury -
Its situated in an idyllic beachfront town, Cabarita Beach in Northern New South Wales.

"Located halfway between the glitzy Gold Coast and bohemian Byron Bay — but a world away from both — Cabarita Beach is little-known beyond locals and itinerant surfers. For this reason it seems an unlikely place for one of Australia’s newest, most distinct boutique properties, Halcyon House." source

Blonde Timber + Pastels - in your Dining Space

Blonde timber and soft pastel accents are one of my favourite looks at the moment. It's such a soft look to the eye, making it easy to aesthetically digest and calming.

The softness of the colours allows you to mix colours without creating an eyesore.
I have put together a dining area look, which starts with the base being the blonde timber and white table. I then added a pop of colour with decor, which you could easily do too, using some fun wall prints or table linen.

Here is where to shop the look
